Light - form of energy - it's nature is mystery .

• Monochromatic - single frequency  ; Polychromatic-many frequencies.usually prism splits up the white light into seven different colours which is known as dispersion.likewise in a waterfall the liquid drop behaves like a prism.

• normally water looks colourless; but in a waterfall the sunlight travels in between air and water which partially reflects & refracts,so it looks white.
