Light - form of energy - it's nature is mystery .

• Monochromatic - single frequency  ; Polychromatic-many frequencies.usually prism splits up the white light into seven different colours which is known as dispersion.likewise in a waterfall the liquid drop behaves like a prism.

• normally water looks colourless; but in a waterfall the sunlight travels in between air and water which partially reflects & refracts,so it looks white.

Optical Illusion

Sun looks bigger at Sunrise & Sunset than at noon time.Why?

                           The intensity of Sun is lesser at Sunrise & Sunset than at noon time.So,we can see the Sun along with trees ,boat etc., But at noon time it is not possible. So Sun's size looks bigger at sunrise and sunset due to illusion.
